Well, the big announcement.....we are having another baby. I am due April 1, 2006. I guess we figured we'd mastered two kids, and needed more of a challenge, so we're throwing in another baby. We are SO excited about it. Brendan is very curious and wants to hear the baby talk and kick. He's convinced that it's said hello to him. When I asked Cecelia if she wanted another baby in the house, she said, "Nooooo." At least she's honest. I was having some problems in the beginning of the pregnancy, but things are working themselves out. (I'll spare the details on the blog.) I got the ok at the doctors yesterday. The baby is growing very well, and my doctor was surprised at how big "it" was already. We are kind of hoping for a boy, that way there isn't too much competition for Cecelia, but a girl would be just as amazingly wonderful.
Outside of that, things are pretty calm. The "hurricane" really didn't do too much here. There was just a lot of rain and some flooding on Pawleys Island, but nothing too serious. We dodged another one.
Gary's ministry is up and running. He's geared up and ready for the year. I think it will be a great one!
My work had a huge blow, our cook, Edward "Chipper" Henry died of a massive heart attack. It was a HUGE blow to the gut to lose him. He was, in a word, amazing. We are reeling from that loss and are trying to pick up the pieces and get back to the business of feeding people again. But it's very hard without him.
Other than that, Brendan is doing great in school. He continues to get good reports sent home for being a good friend and a good listener in class, making me SO proud. Cecelia just grows and grows. Her feet are a lot like mine, poor girl. I think they're almost as long as she is tall. She's sleeping in her "big girl" bed and the next hurdle is going to be potty training!! It sure would be nice to only have ONE in diapers at a time come April.
Would love to hear from you all when you get a chance. Either email or leave a message on the blog. Take care and God Bless!
