I can hardly believe that it is already December. I truly feel like we just got done with Halloween. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with friends. I love that we had a full house. The holidays should always be so full. Now we are gearing up for Christmas. My dad was just down for a nice visit. We had a lovely time decorating the tree and visiting with him. The kids are starting to get that energy that comes with the vague knowledge that something big happens on Christmas day. I know this year is going to be so much fun. I only wish that we were going to have a full house again for Christmas. The crazy thing is realizing how quickly the Christmas parties start up. We have a church one to go to tonight, and then we have 4 more after that!! It makes this time of year go SO much faster. I really do enjoy the going out and being with friends though. I wish every month was this busy with people. Of course, we'd go into the poor house paying out babysitting fees! The kids are doing really well. We've had a pretty healthy stretch so far. But if tradition continues, one or both of my children will be extremely ill on Christmas Eve. We've got three years going strong, so we will see if we can HOPEFULLY avoid this tradition. Brendan is still very much into Thomas the Tank Engine, but has branched out to batman and spiderman. I bought him some new spiderman shoes, and well, let's just say they were a hit. Cecelia is getting into Dora and Princess items. That and dressing up in clothes and shoes. Oh yeah, and pretty much anything Brendan is playing with. I hear that is par for the course with siblings though. Gary is winding down for the season, but has a ski trip in January. Then before I know it, I will be having baby number three! I feel like we just don't slow down. But I wouldn't trade it in for all the money in the world. I am going to try and work on Chrismas cards this coming week, and hopefully get them out before the New Year. I hope everyone is well. We love and miss you!
