Halloween!!

Happy Halloween! We had our first REAL Halloween this year. Brendan and Cecelia truly understood the phrase "trick or treat", knowing full well that a nice little treat would be placed in their pumpkins. We went to a dream neighborhood for the event. Brendan's best friend invited us to their development so the kids could walk around together. It was amazing, I think I ran into everyone I knew. It was definitely the beginning of a fun season with the kids. It's only going to get more and more intense, (candy wise) as the years pass. I just know that this year's Christmas is going to be hard to recover from. Brendan has already written his first letter to Santa asking for a "Thomas doodle thing". We put it in the mail and "sent" it off. When he woke up the next morning, he looked around the corner to where the tree was last year and said, "what? No presents? Mommy, where are the presents?" So, we'll have to have some talks about the fact that it only comes once a year.
Other than that, life is going really well. We threw Sayward her baby shower. I think she got some good presents to complete her supplies. A friend made the best pimento cheese dip! Not good to have leftovers with a pregnant woman in the house! I am about 20 weeks along with #3. I can't believe I am half way through. It seems like the baby won't ever get here, then all of a sudden I panic and am glad that this isn't upon me just yet. We go in for our mid-point ultra sound next week. We have decided NOT to find out what this one is. Although I am going to do my best to try and figure it out on my own when I look at the pictures. I just don't want the "official" word on what it is.
I hope everyone is doing well and that you all enjoy the pictures. I figured I would put as many on this time as I could so family could see just how much these two have grown, both in height and in their friendship with one another. They play together all the time now and are SLOWLY getting better about not death match wrestling anymore. It's been a joy to watch. I am really hoping it pays off later in life. This could actually turn against me in their teenage years with their being so close. Hopefully that just means they will have each other's back. Love to you all and take care! Julie
