Over the Half-way mark!

Holy cow! I am sitting here trying to grasp the fact that very shortly I will be the mother of three children! I had my doctor's appointment yesterday and had our mid-point ultra sound. The baby is growing just like it should. There was no way of finding out what the sex was, because it stayed in the profile position the whole time, except for when it did some crazy back flip thing. We even saw "it" appear to suck its thumb. Crazy. I keep wondering if I am going to be a good mother to three, let alone the four we keep saying we're going to have. But then I think of my grandmother who had 8...none of them grew up to be ax murderers....that I know of anyway. If I have even a little of her gene pool, I am hoping that will be enough.
I can't believe that the holidays are already knocking on our door. One of the radio stations down here is already playing Christmas music all day. I say it is a bit premature, but it sure does remind me that I need to get hopping on my shopping!!
Since Sayward had her little angel, Spencer, her sister Robyn is coming down for Thanksgiving. Everyone but her brother, I think, is going to be here to celebrate with her. We are going to have the dinner at our house, letting new mom, Sayward, rest and not worry about hosting. Robyn and her boys will be sleeping here, which is a special treat for me. I am excited to have a full house, it makes the holidays more festive. Now we just need to get people in for Christmas. (but that one is a little harder.) Ah well. I am just very thankful for the friends we have and the ability to have them here during part of this season. This is when we REALLY miss being so far from family, it's just not the same without them.
I am truly out of the world of technology right now. Both our digital camera AND my cell phone are out of commission. I ordered a camera phone online yesterday, so hopefully I can get things up and running with pictures very soon. I also asked "santa" for a digital camera, so come Christmas, we'll be back in the swing of things again. I feel like my poor kids' year has gone by without any new pictures. This part of their life isn't very well documented. We'll make up for it next year! Especially with number three on the way.
Gary is doing well, minus a quick 24 hours with the stomach flu. I am finally beginning to officially look pregnant instead of fat. The kids are doing great. It just sounds so cliche to say, but time flies by so quickly with them. They are just growing up so fast. Especially Cecelia. I hope everyone else is doing well and are healthy. I will post new pics as soon as I get that phone! Love to all!! Don't forget to check pictures of Sayward and Matt's little one. She's too cute for words!
