I realized that in the past month, we have had several major events, mostly with Brendan, take place. The two biggest being his birthday and his Day out with Thomas the Tank Engine. So, after a LONG download from our digital camera, I was finally able to get some pictures up. I will try to go through them all again and make sure that I get all of the good ones on so family can see them. Brendan is highlighted a bunch in these, but I will try to get some more of Cecelia and Teddy up as well.
Gary is at camp this week with Junior high kids. He, Sayward and three other adult leaders are plugging along in Cleveland, TN in this awful summer heat. There is no pool to speak of at this camp!! Needless to say it's good that it's almost the end of the week. They get to go rafting tomorrow, so at least that involves some water and an opportunity to cool off.
The kids are missing him, but are doing well. Brendan asked Gary "what is taking your work so long?!" when they talked on the phone the other night. I had to laugh.
Cecelia is FINALLY potty trained. She is going to the bathroom all by herself now. She decided Tuesday night at 9pm that she wanted to use the potty. She's gone ever since. I am VERY happy. Now I just need to get her to wear HER underwear. Currently she is wearing Brendan's Thomas underwear. I personally, don't care, so long as she uses the potty. I might even try to get her to wear his old tighty-whities!! Anything that is Brendan's, she's GOT to have!!
Teddy is amazing. He's officially three months old today. I can't believe how quickly he is growing. Soon he'll be strong enough to use the exersaucer. We look forward to that because he is a mover and a jumper like Brendan used to be. The exersaucer will give my arms a break!
I am doing ok. I am VERY tired without Gary being here, but that is to be expected. I have been blessed to have some help this week, thanks to my mom!! THANK YOU MOM!!!!!!!! A friend, Angela, has been coming from 5-8 every night this week. It allows me to bathe, feed and put my older two to bed like we do when Gary is here. They get to have stories and songs at night instead of me tossing them in the bed then rushing out to pick up a crying baby. It has worked out VERY well. Angela is my Angel.
Well, I am tired and all three are sleeping right now. I am going to get into my "jammers" and sleep myself. Love to all!!!!!
