Here is a pic of our house from the drive way. Gary decided that it was time we actually took pictures of the house....in case of a hurricane or something. We should have taken a picture of someone else's house and pretended it was ours...something on the island maybe?
The other pic is of our sweet Teddy sleeping. He's so snuggly!! You can just see his "blankie" that is covering his face. He doesn't go to sleep without it. It's blue just like Linus' blanket. In fact, he reminds me very much of Linus from Charlie Brown. He uses it for so many different things: a scarf, a hat, a blanket, a toy, a comforting friend, a weapon...you name it. It's very soft too...I almost wish it were mine.
Anyway, life here is going. Winter life has settled in. We are all in that blah mood. It's been a little colder, (of course all relative to the north) and a little grayer. We're indoors more and all a little stir crazy. I am excited for summer and going to the pool, going to the beach, heading north for our annual trip, and just getting out and about with activity. It's amazing how a few gray days in a row really do make a difference in my mood. I miss the sun and being outside with the kids. It was nice this fall being outside and watching Brendan play soccer...it was a nice way to end a day. I know it's only a month or so of this type weather, which TRULY makes me appreciate the springs, summers and falls here.
